New York, Nov. 6 (AP). -- School boys are receiving too much spending money and even those in high school are still in the phase of life where spanking fills an educational need, says Magistrate Hirschfield, of Brooklyn. His dicta were the outcome of the arrest of 24 Erasmus High School students in a pool room raid. They were all discharged, with the earnest suggestion that each be taken across a parental knee for an old-fashioned "larrupin'." "Sing Sing is full of school boys who started their criminal careers in pool rooms," remarked his honor, "young boys today receive too much spending money." |
