Robbery With Violence.
Sentence of six months' imprisonment in the second division and 24 strokes of the birch was passed by the RECORDER (Sir Ernest Wild, K.C.) at the Central Criminal Court yesterday, on WILLIAM ALLAN MAYLIN, 19, motor driver, for robbery with violence upon Benjamin Mayer and stealing from him a wallet and other articles. Judgment on NORMAN CYRIL BOSLEY, 17, greengrocer, who was indicted with the other prisoner, was postponed until the January session, the RECORDER instructing that Bosley would then be bound over and discharged. Mr. G. Gregory Fisher prosecuted.
