Jail and cane for robber

KONG Chee Seng, 20, now serving a sentence of 18 months jail with six strokes of the rotan yesterday pleaded guilty in the district court to six counts of robbery between Dec 28 and 29 last year.

He was sentenced another 18 months jail and 12 strokes of the rotan.
