Punjab bans corporal punishment
LAHORE (Online) - The government of Punjab has issued directives to all the private and public sector educational institutes thereby strictly banning the teachers from awarding corporal punishment to the students.
Strict disciplinary action would be taken against the teachers in case of non-compliance.
As per details, the Punjab government, through a circular, has banned the schoolteachers from awarding physical punishments.
