Judge dismisses charges in school paddling case
By Tammy Estwick
A Flora judge dismissed charges Monday against Tri-County Academy Headmaster Mark Johnson in a school paddling case.
Johnson was facing simple assault charges after parents said he went too far paddling their sons, even though he had their permission. The judge ruled that there wasn't enough evidence to go forward with the charges.
Prosecutors said there won't be an appeal.
