Dogwalk spanker

A TV dog show judge spanked a woman’s bottom with a walking stick after her pet attacked his champion pooch.

Richard Singleton, 48, who appeared on the BBC’s One Man And His Dog, attacked Irene Carroll after her weimaraner started a fight with his border collie.

As Mrs Carroll, 48, bent over to grab her dog, Singleton grabbed her stick and whacked her on her bottom — leaving her with bruised buttocks, Manchester Crown Court heard.

Singleton, of Northenden, Manchester, admitted assault and was given 100 hours community service.
