Labasa rapists jailed for five years each

Two Labasa men who were convicted of rape last week have been sentenced to five years each in prison.

Tukoli Visawaqa and Avinesh Krishna raped a 14 year old mentally retarded victim at their Siberia home, two months ago. Magistrate Sayed Muktar Shah has also ordered that the two be given five strokes of the cane.
