Albert Wickin, aged 14, a warehouse-boy, of Henry-street, Pentonville, and Edward Seafford, aged 10, a school-boy, of Risinghill-street, Pentonville, were charged with being concerned together in stealing three fowls, value 5s. 6d., from an outhouse at the rear of 48, Cumming-street, King's-cross, the property of Stephen Vardar, joiner, on the previous night. Wickin was remanded for a week, and Seafford was ordered to receive six strokes with a birch rod.

Robbery by an errand boy.

George Andrews, aged 13, an errand boy, of Wynford-road, Barnsbury, was charged at the Clerkenwell Police-court, on Saturday, with stealing seven shillings, marked money, from inside the shop, No. 293, Pentonville-road, the money of his employer, Richard Clarke, chemist and druggist. The boy pleaded guilty to having taken the money from the till. He was paid 6s. 6d. a week, and had been in the prosecutor's employ for some months. Mr. Hosack ordered Andrews to receive six strokes with a birch rod.

Ernest Pickard, aged 13, an errand-boy, of Nile-street, City-road, was charged with stealing a cricket-ball and eight small india-rubber balls from inside the shop, No. 222, City-road, the property of Alice Robins, toy and fancy goods dealer, on Tuesday evening. The boy pleaded guilty, and was ordered to receive six strokes with a birch rod.
