Hobart Town Police Report.
Monday, May 12th.
Henry Harrison, James Slade, James Pitt, and Mary Weldon, were fined 5s. each for drunkenness.
Bridget Eagleton was sentenced to the house of correction, for
six calendar months, for drunkenness and being a rogue and
John Smith was sentenced twelve lashes on the breech, for general idleness and neglect of duty.
Tuesday, May 13th.
William Luli was fined 5s. for drunkenness. James Dunk was reprimanded, for neglect of duty.
James Boswell was sentenced to the tread wheel four days, for being found in the Calcutta tap after hours.
John Davis was sentenced twenty-five lashes, for being absent
James Baskerville was sentenced twenty-five lashes, for absenting himself from his master's premises on Saturday night until Monday morning, and making away with some property delivered to him by his master.
Wednesday, May 14th.
John Evans, John Reed, John Morrison Ross, and Richard Lyon, were fined 5s. each for drunkenness.
George M'Naroara was sentenced twelve lashes on the breech, for being absent without leave.
Jacob Milsom, assaulting and beating Michael Blood, was discharged, there being no proof.
Saturday, May 17th.
John Green was sentenced twenty-five lashes for drunkenness.
